Whipstitch is a downtown, modern sewing and fabrics store. My goal with this booklet was to show sewing as a lifestyle. Use of clean layout with minimal type, lots of whitespace, and bold, vibrant colors adds to the organized, idealistic aesthetic. Included on the fourth spread is a list of all the sewing classes Whipstitch offers.

This poster is a "one-sided" exploration of pop culture during the first half of the 1940s. The style of the poster, especially the tank, is inspired by the airbrushed look of many of the era's World War II propaganda posters. The concept is twofold: All of popular American culture was overtaken or trumped by the war effort. All of popular American culture seemed to join together in support of the war effort.
